Cloud Nine Studios retains the right to copyright any and all photography work.  It is illegal to scan photographs or reproduce any of Cloud Nine's work and is punishable by law.  Our reputation as photographers depends on the look of the final product. 

Cloud Nine Studios may at any time use images of you for advertising, promotional reasons, displayed in our online portfolio, or be uploaded to our blog or social media.  We do respect the privacy of our clients at their request; if you wish to not have your images on social media please discuss this with us.


A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your date.  All sessions (excluding weddings) have a deposit of $50.  The deposit will be credited to your session fee.  This must be paid by credit card over the phone.


Please plan to pay for your session at the time of your photo session.  This fee is non-refundable except for the following situations:

In the case image materials have been lost, stolen, or damaged

In these events, the photographer will refund money paid to the client.

Prior to each photo session, every client is required to sign a contract agreeing to Cloud Nine Studios Photography's terms and conditions.  Since every artist has a different style, we kindly ask that you review our portfolio to be certain our style matches your photography needs.


  • Your initial deposit is non-refundable.
  • For cancellations and rescheduling requests occurring 7 days or more before a scheduled appointment, no additional payment is required.
  • For cancellations and rescheduling requests occurring 2-6 days before a scheduled appointment, 50% of the booked package will be billed to the provided credit card. When rescheduling, a new deposit is required. Please note that the deposit toward the initial booking is for that booking and cannot be applied to a newly rescheduled appointment.
  • For cancellations and rescheduling requests occurring within 48 hours of a scheduled appointment, 100% of the package will be billed to the provided credit card. When rescheduling, a new deposit is required.
  • In rare instances such as weather-related, illness or emergency situations, Cloud Nine may need to reschedule your appointment. In the case of illness or emergency where Cloud Nine needs to reschedule (within 7 days of your shoot), Cloud Nine will reward your cooperation in moving your appointment with a discount applied to your photo session.


Upon post-session processing, your images will be uploaded to a private online gallery that is password protected.  You are free to share this information with anyone you'd like.  The gallery expires after 30 days.  After the expiration there is a $25 reactivation fee.  Once the gallery is uploaded, all unedited images from family and senior sessions are removed from our hard drive three months after the gallery is shared.  All unedited wedding images are removed from our hard drive six months after the gallery is received by the client. 


All touchups (stray hair, blemishes, color correcting) is included in your sitting fee.  Each additional photo or edit request by the client that is not included in the session fee is an additional $10 per image.  We will not Photoshop heads, reshape your body, change the color of your clothing etc. since it will change the overall look of the final image.
